Mars & Venus

A couple of days ago in the recent podcast "Knowledge and creation won't be spread with X"
of The Weirdo, three hostesses shared their opinions about feminism from a pure female angle,
most of which were acute and insightful.
As a researcher mainly in cyberspace (but also interested in the beauty and complexity of humanity)
and a straight man, I want to share some ideas from recent years.

First, as people say, men are from Mars, and women are from Venus.
Mars is the god of warfare, while Venus is the god of beauty.
Men are mostly warriors and hunters, while women are mostly organizers and gatherers.
However, besides the fact from a long history of homo sapiens,
what are the real meanings hidden in these nouns?

While most people agree that the goal of warfare is win and conquest,
what's the goal of beauty? Maybe the point is when we ask "what the goal of something",
the omitted premise is, the thing we're talking about is a tool of life, rather than life itself.

When a man spends most of his life purchasing power, land, money,
what really drives him is the belief that "if I have more power, land, money,
I will conquer and possess more women, thus having more offspring".
His behavior matches perfectly with a sperm container, a powerful tool of the human species,
rather than a human being itself.
In this regard, a strongman has all the world but one thing: freedom,
free to seek the real meaning of his life.

In the movie Avatar, Jake, Trudy, and Dr. Grace devote their lives to saving lives and trees on Pandora,
no fear of the label of "traitor" by their human colleagues.
Similarly, a real liberal must be a "traitor" of patriarchy and a feminist sympathizer.

Yet another advice to kids

Sharon posted some advice to the youth (although she herself is young). She suggested being independent, with no fear of failure, which is excellent advice. I'd like to give some more "concrete" tips to kids or myself in childhood (if I have the chance to tell that me). First things first, the following suggestions can't make you more competitive than your peers or perform better in exams. or win the girl make you fascinated. The Joy of Reading in Natural Light

Nowadays I read books in paperbacks much less than ebooks. Not because I don't like reading paper books, but after reading for so many years on screen, my eyes are very sensitive to the brightness of reading materials. It's very hard for me to read characters when the material is not bright enough. Unfortunately, the light in my living room is not bright enough for me. This morning it was cloudy, while in the afternoon it got clear, and the blue sky and white clouds appeared. So I moved the desk near the window. To my surprise, the characters on paper books are much more clear and more comfortable to read than in artificial light. Maybe such a simple fact is not worthy to mention.
